my Chrome browser (Win 7) is freezing. Mainly when tab are switched or windows is resized. It started approx three weeks ago and it is most likely connected to the new Chrome version released 2014-07-21.

Yes, it is not sufficient just to disable GPU computation, but entire computation in the Boinc control panel client.

That suggested change in Chrome settings (disable HW accelleration) helps, but it doesn't resolve the problem completely. On my PC some actions have still too long response (typing search keyword into the address bar, displaying tooltips when hovering above links, switching to full screen mode...).

There were most likely some fundamental Chrome changes implemented, but from BOINC client I would expect correct detection of available resources so Chrome should be preferred in favor of computations. When Chrome is added to a exclusive apps, computation is never enabled as this browser is opened all the time in my case.

It would be nice to have it fixed.
