What projects is this on?, Boinc is just the Managing program, it's the project apps that do the work, while you posted some specs, please post your Boinc startup from the Event Log, the first 20 to 30 lines will do. Claggy |

01/07/2013 06:07:42 | | CAL: ATI GPU 0: ATI Radeon HD 5800 series (Cypress) (CAL version 1.4.1417, 1024MB, 991MB available, 4640 GFLOPS peak) I'd say you're got a mismatch of drivers and APP runtimes installed, CAL 1.4.1417 driver is from Cat 11.6, that normally would have APP runtime 650.9 installed, you have APP 898.1 installed, which is from Cat 12.2/Cat 12.3 Basically you're running a driver for APP SDK 2.4, and you're trying to run an APP runtime ment for use with an SDK 2.6 driver, from so i'm not surprised your host bluescreens: ATI Driver Version Cheat Sheet Uninstall your driver, then use the AMD Catalyst Un-install Utility to clean out the AMD orphaned files, reboot, then install a recent driver, Cat 13.4 should work fine, then you'll need to detach and reattach to Seti to clear out the compilations the AP v6 and/or MB v7 apps have done, (You can just delete the compilations so the latest APP runtime generates new ones, I don't have time to list the filenames, ask in Number Crunching at Seti for info) Claggy |

Outside of drivers, I have a whole different problem with the information given... Another thing seems to be odd. This is his system: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=6814654 At the beginning of the thread Marc has posted to have 4GB RAM, one GPU and a 64 bit OS. The Details point to a 32bit OS with one 1GB GPU (3071.05 MB) Alex |
