Hey, I have installed boinc on PowerPC 64 bits server under debian sarge linux. When I try to connect to a project, I receive : [World Community Grid] Message from server: platform 'powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu' not found 2006-05-04 10:48:34 [World Community Grid] Successfully attached to World Community Grid 2006-05-04 10:48:39 [World Community Grid] Deferring communication with project for 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 54 seconds I have that problem with WCG and SETI... Is it a BOINC problem or a "project" problem ? how to solve it ? thanks alain |

It's a project specific problem. I don't know if WCG has a powerpc science application, but Seti may have. Otherwise check for it through a 3rd party person or compile it yourself. |

If you're compiling yourself, use a different name for it, so that it matches the Linux name on the project(s) that interest you. |
