Hello,
since 3 mounth ago I can crunch on GPU and have 3D acceleration under OS.
I've installed first Ironhide then Bumblebee. And I run the command: 'optirun ./boinc' and then I open manualy boincmgr.
There is a library that need to be installed in order the boincmgr to function.

Ironhide:

Bumblebee:

Seems this is to inform Linux users that it _is_ possible to crunch on computers with nVidia Optimus Technology (which in connection Intel Sandy Bridge technology is a huge pita for Linux users) and what brief steps he did to accomplish this. Sorry to hear the forum can only be used if there is a problem or question associated with the post...

Forum description: Issues involving Graphics Processing Units. Most of the threads here deal with problems, yes. Just posting that you can do something, without explaining in-depth any further than just that happens in approximately one every 2.3 million posts. It's not as if there's any clue for novices about the post that it's him telling here's how you do that.

Sorry, I don't know what was on my mind at that time.
There is no actual problem, BOINC runs since 3 years ago, just fine.
There is a good part regarding optimus. I can wach movies without jerry image, and cruncing at the same time.

Boinc is opened with the command optirun ./boinc.
If i run also optirun vlc and try to wacth a movie it becomes jerry.
But here is the good part:
- boinc with optirun
- movie with rendering on intel video processor.
Everything is just fine.
