Sorry, false alarm. After installing the newer Nvidia-Drivers (181.22 instead of 177.83) the GPU gets detected again and the boinc-core is starting 3 processes (!) So everything seams to work ok at the moment. |

Just out of interest, is that an AGP card or a PCIe card? I'm asking as I don't think I have seen a Pentium 4 478 slot motherboard with a PCIe slot anywhere. |

I have the latest boinc and nvidia drivers and software but I can't get seti@home to use the GPU. I don't think boinc is identifying it. I am running 4 processes but on a quad core processor and the gpu remains at idle speeds. My system spec is: motherboard - M3N78 Pro Phenom II X4 940 4 gb 1066 ram nvidia gtx 285 Win XP professional |
