Hi folks I have BOINC running on ubuntu gutsy, but a) it doesn't compute althjough attached to a project and b) I am having this prob:

root@collab:/home/adminlion# boinc_cmd --host localhost --get_status
Authorization failure: -155

Hi.
You are running the command as root.
Don't.
Try it as the unprivileged user that owns the script. Also, the proper option is --get_state , at least for the 5.10.28 client. Check it with:
$./boinc_cmd --help
It works for me.
