Hello,

I installed boinc-client and boinc-setiathome from ports on FreeBSD 6.1. It won't get any work. I update the project and it downloads the images but doesn't do anything else. On the Windows or Mac OS X clients I use with my account, both get work, but this will not. Is there anything I'm missing?

It's well possible that the setiathome application you are using is no longer in use by the project and thus not getting work. You do need a port over of the Seti Enhanced application at minimum.

Else, ask at the Setiathome forums. They'll be better equipped to tell you what you need.

I never realized it could be a problem with setiathome, but what you said makes sense.
