I recently reinstalled BOINC on my new computer. The problem is that I have a small 74GB hard drive (WD Raptor) that I use for operating system and pagefile for both Linux and WinXP.
I have several other hard drives that I use for storage that are much larger. I can find any option to select a hard drive to use for the cache or pagefile for BOINC.
Is this because it uses the default pagefile for WinXP or does it automatically select the "system" disk.

I'm getting ready to do a clean install of both Vista and Ubuntu and would like to setup a partition for BOINC to use under both systems to save disk space.

Thanks for any help or recomendations.

Note that if you have Boinc in both Windows and Linux they'll need to be separate installations (the project files and so forth won't be compatible).

You can install Boinc on whatever drive you like.
