Hi, I just bought my new laptop - it's a Microsoft Copilot+ PC Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x with the new ARM64 Snapdragon X Elite CPU and Windows 11 ARM. I'm wondering if there are any plans to support BOINC clients natively compiled for Windows ARM64? Right now I should be able to run the Windows x64 BOINC client, I plan to test it later this month, but having native client and also native executables for individual projects would be much better. Based on some benchmarks, apps running natively on Windows ARM64 are much faster thatn emulated x86 or x64 apps. |

I'm wondering if there are any plans to support BOINC clients natively compiled for Windows ARM64? git-hub is the place where you can look at what is going on with Windows and Arm64 for BOINC and where the developers hang out. If you want to ask questions there you will need to create an account. |

And before you open a new ticket, read https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/issues/2136 and https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/pull/4523 What you can do is ask if they update the commits, and if there's a package built that you can test. |

Will do, thanks. Looks like this is the main ticket now for creating ARM64 installer. https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/issues/4697 |
