I put in a used msi gpu nvidia gt 1030 but the manager reports "misssing GPU. . It was ok until I downloaded the latest BOINC version 20.2.

Photoshop reports that card is compatible.

Can you please post the first 30 or so lines from the Messages log in BOINC? (CTRL+SHIFT+E)
