I upgraded to 5.4.11 a while back, hoping that there would be a fix for the problem where Suspend would go on forever until you unsuspended it manually. I was delighted to find the "Snooze" setting on the taskbar icon. But Snooze also goes on forever!

It's supposed to shut down after an hour, but not only does it continue indefinitely, but it doesn't even reset itself when you reboot your computer either. Several versions ago, it would reset itself on reboot, but no more.

When is this problem going to finally be fixed?? I discover my Snooze is still on days later after I set it to Snooze, not realizing how long it's been off. Today I see that one of my packages is overdue and I may not get credit for it.

I would think it's in BOINC's best interest to fix this problem, so that the schedules don't get messed up, as I'm sure they must. I have enough on my plate from day to day without trying to keep track of BOINC to babysit features that aren't working properly. I'm delighted to be able to contribute to these projects, but when the host program isn't working well and continuing problems don't get fixed, it starts to make me wonder what's the point?

When is there going to be a fix for this??? This problem has been going on for at least several months, if not years.

This may be fixed in the next version. There was a bug where if the manager exited while snoozed it would never come out of snooze. The new version will track the time in the core client instead of the manager.
