Hi.
1. My BOINC version is 7.8.3 (x64) wxWidgets version 3.0.1

2. I can not make BOINC to start working on my GPU. None of the cards. I have 2 GPU-cards:

a. Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 --> 21.20.16.4590
b. NVIDIA Quadro M2200 --> driver version 23.21.13.9077

I have not installed the boinc-klient as service, but I have allowed all users to control the BOINC client.

Computer: HP ZBook 15 G4

Next the log showned as it is today, before I explain what I have done to try fix this.

3. I have been walking through all the steps in this page: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/GPU_computing

I says only Ivy bridge and Haswell are the only Intel GPU's that support Open GL. But both cards according to "TechPowerUp GPU-Z" says they are capable of doing openGL.... and several more. I am not sure if Worldcommunitygrid do Intel cards tho.

a. Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 --> 21.20.16.4590 --> http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/18/02/16/8ud.png
b. NVIDIA Quadro M2200 --> driver version 23.21.13.9077 --> http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/18/02/16/7aa.png

I have the latest software. (first line)

I think I also have the latest drivers for the GPU's (2a and 2b)

I have read through the help site regarding Graphics card Processing.
https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=GPU

I heard my support at work said that the Intel card will engage first, and Quadro card will not start until the Intel card is fully engaged. Therfore I made a script "cc_config.xml" in notepad with this code:

<cc_config>
<options>
<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
</options>
</cc_config>

At least "could not find cc_config.xml file" in event log disappeared. C:\ProgramData\BOINC

4. I only deliver by "World Community Grid" right now. Available projects right now is:

Microbiome Immunity Project
Smash Childhood Cancer
OpenZika
Help Stop TB
FightAIDS@Home - Phase 2
Outsmart Ebola Together
Mapping Cancer Markers

and intermittend project
FightAids@home

5. I will give you all the systeminformation here:

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise (norwegian)
version: 10.0.16299 Build 16299
Prosessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7820HQ CPU @ 2.90GHz, 2904 Mhz, 4 cores, 8 logical prosessor
BIOS HP P70 Ver. 01.03, 26.09.2017
Systemtype x64-based PC

I really hope for help please....

I'm not sure, and you should ask about that on the World Community Grid forums, but I don't think they have sub-projects that run on a GPU at the moment.

Thank you. That is actually an good answer. I have testet Einstein@home, and this one worked on the GPU.

But thank you and I will keep searching.... :-) :-) :-)

Currently and extremely rare for World Community Grid (WCG) to have GPU work.. WCG would be classified as a CPU ONLY project.

Yeah WCG has been CPU only (x86 and ARM) for several years now.
