dave0 hi

I'm not great at RHL more Debian but the key line at the moment is

13-Oct-2015 04:36:14 [---] No usable GPUs found

You don't say specifically what GPU(s) are installed, not all GPUs are capable.

From your drivers I'm guessing it is AMD, so
lspci | grep AMD

and / or
aticonfig --lsa

should show what hardware might be working.

When you say can never get the drivers to work, do you mean "for GPU crunching" or they don't work at all?

Lastly there are some sticky threads in this forum which should help, in particular with OpenCL libraries needed.

Good luck
