Hi, I have a Zotak Nvidia GeForce 9800GT and I can't get it to work. Also I have an onboard Intel HD Graphics 4000. Anyone can tell me how to make at least make work one of this GPUs??
Y have createad the file "cc_config.xml" in the boinc directory with this content:
<cc_config>
<options>
<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
</options>
</cc_config>
but it seems doesn't work.
The drivers in the Zotak card are updated.
Sorry for my english ;)

Your NVIDIA GPU seems to be doing just fine. Or at least BOINC has found it. The driver version is a bit problematic. See the @Pre-FERMI nVidia GPU users: Important warning thread. Driver versions 340.xx and later might still be banned at S@H even if the bug was fixed in 341.44. You might want to try an older version.

But the Intel GPU seems to have gone missing. Since there is OpenCL driver for CPU you probably have drivers for GPU too installed. I've seen mentioned a few times that you need to have monitor or a dummy plug connected to the GPU you want to use or extend desktop to the GPU. Have you tried any of those tricks yet?

I have checked forums and can't find an answer. Just installed version 7.2.42, running 32 bit Window 7. GPU used to run tasks, don't know what I did to create problem.
Here is cc_config:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
-<cc_config>
-<options>
<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
</options>
</cc_config>

Same thing as with Julián's computer. You need to install driver older than 340.xx for your NVIDIA GPU. Julián seems to be happy with 337.88.

I solved it another way and put in a newer GPU. GTX 650ti will do a lot more work than my 9600GT. Thanks for the help.
