Aside from the blazing cuts such as Hey Tonight and Down Around the Bend, this one had a lot of soul embedded into it. And at many times during my life, touched my soul deeply.

This franchise has held more interest for me since Lori first dragged me kicking and screaming to the first movie.

I have since come to sense something more......maybe the producers intend that, perhaps my own perceptions.

I see in the last installment my own views....
A coming thing in our own country....as in....
A leader who perceives he is above any and all.

A single person who has become an icon for the masses.
The destruction of her home town.
And her determination to make it right.
And her strength to do so.

I think this has gone somewhat beyond the novel, just conjecture, as I have not read it. I just get feedback here and there from others who have.

I have two sides, one presents some difficulties to myself and others.

One, is the one that Lori and my co-workers know. Quite normal, quiet, nothing to be concerned about or even bothered thinking about.

The second, presents it'self when I am sitting here all alone and things my little brain thingies start to get agitated...
Now, before you jump to judgement about that, it is NOT always alcohol related.

My little brain chemical thingys do strange things to me at times in total sobriety....way whacked out.
I am not sure that Eric, the mods, or any other Setizens have ever understood or acknowledged that.

I have emotional, underlying issues that I deal with every day, drinking or not.
They are there. They are embedded. My brother committed suicide over them, because he could not deal with them.

I deal with them badly, perhaps in your eyes, but I am still a survivor.

Perhaps a song someone else sang that might try to explain, kids....

I don't suppose that there are too many others in the Seti annals that have chosen or were brazen enough to tear open their closet doors to y'all as I have.

It's up now, but don't know how long it shall remain so.

Thank you very much for recognizing my efforts. I have always said that I am in it for the science, not the creds. But they do serve as a marker to show just what I have done. Something I am very proud of.
I know I am OCD when it comes to Seti.
No other single user on the PLANET had done what I have.
And I think that is rather impressive, considering the scope and significance of this project, and the number of users that have also contributed since it's inception.

I actually considered bringing one more rig online just yesterday, but it's been in mothballs for so long that bringing it back up would be a major effort.
I have one more port left I could use on a switch that already shares 2 rigs.
I'd have to drum up some cables to go into a 2 port KVM that hosts my stand alone rig on an old Sony CRT monitor.
Find a spare HD to put back into it.

The showstopper was that I don't think I have another valid copy of XP to run on it, and I do NOT cheat on OSs. Every one I run is a valid, registered copy of XP, which were donated to me a long while ago from a fellow GPUUG teammate.
I looked, but I think I am tapped out there.
