And I read about this in the Seti Cafe........... I have cried several nights with these pictures burnt into my mind. I can understand the circumstances within which these pictures were taken, but I still find it difficult that within the human conflict and pain and need that existed in that point in time, a human being approached by an innocent kitten could not but help do anything in their power to ease it's suffering rather than shrug it off. I do understand that the immense HUMAN suffering during that conflict needed immediate attention as well, and I am sure that one can find pictures of that pain and suffering as well, but even given that...... It is beyond me how anybody, in any situation, could be so callous as to shrug off the obvious pain and hurt in that kitty, and the innocence just asking for a tiny shred of love or caring. The look in kitty's eyes are haunting me. Yet another reason I take pride in loving our companion kitties so much. You can see the soul in this kitty's eyes........yes, kitties do have souls. Just look at kitty.... |

Time for more kitten sounds... Peter Green. From the early years of Fleetwood Mac. You should really read the autobiographies. Mick co wrote two of them, the second is just a money grubbing rewind of the first, not much new there. But, the band did have their moments, most in the first few years of their incarnation, before money, wife swapping, and pride started to tear it all apart. This is one of my favorites, a song not many remember. Green was a way back, very old school blues player. He sat in on some sessions, and a few cuts were produced that were wonderful. He had left the group before they had their wild successes on Warner Bros. records. Peter, Jumping at Shadows.. As I usually do. If you search youtube for Peter Green, you shall find just a few cuts of him doing the song, but many that are either trying to imitate him or pay tribute to him. Wiki. And Jeremy Spencer is still alive too..... "Bend in the Road" review from Clive Rawlings, "Blues Matters": Inside is a collection of songs that come from Spencer's love of the blues. It's an intimate journey but one that will connect profoundly and repeatedly with listeners. Having shared the Mac spotlight for years with Peter Green, here he is happy to do the same with Brett Lucas, a young Detroit guitarist who co-produced and whose band lends sterling support. |

This says a lot about me and who I have become. Puff...... I miss Travers so much.... A truer voice there never was, or since. A little bit of talk from Peter. Sigh. |

I have to travel on now, my friends. It might be tomorrow, it might be a lifetime. I cannot say. There are things only the Lord above can determine. Not mine to say.. So, Meow for now, until we meet again.. When a dark cloud rains on you, just always remember that it is me pissing on ya...LOL. |

Just a bit in the way of a kittyman update. Have not had much to say as of late. Too grumpy, and busy getting things crossed off of my task list on my vacation. Not getting much AP work out of the Seti servers lately. And that's all the kitties are accepting currently. Not surprising, because although the AP splitters have ramped up, no MB is being split, so AP work is being spread around to every Tom, Dick, and Harry that usually only does MB but are set to accept other work if MB is not available. So, those that have AP set as their preference just ain't gettin' much. It's going out, just not coming this way. Soooooooooooooo..... The kitties are on the grid now...GPUGRID. It is set to my second project with a zero resource share, but with nothing much in the way of AP coming out of Berk to keep the GPUs busy (the main power of the kitty crunching farm), they are mostly doing Grid now. And I am done for the moment babysitting things. It's all in Boinc manager's hands. If and when enough AP work starts coming this way again, it shall tweak the rig's interests in asking for more. Otherwise, the long Boinc backoffs shall start to prevail for Seti. Not worth my time constantly nudging the rigs to contact Seti again and again when nothing comes forth. I do have most of the CPU caches full, so completed CPU tasks will reset things from time to time, but they take much longer to complete than GPU work. So, long story short, I shall be crunching Seti always, but kinda in the background for now as the kitties are directing the GPUs Gridward. That's going pretty well actually. It pushes the GPUs pretty hard, which is good, as I need the heat with outside temps going to seasonal lows here this week. Single digits f right now. And since the Grid forums are pretty lame in comparison to Seti, I shouldn't have much impetus to get in trouble there. Boring. Meow for now. Have a great New Year, and many more meows to come. And since the Grid forums are pretty lame in comparison to Seti, I shouldn't have much impetus to get in trouble there. Boring. What? I am simply stating the obvious from one coming from Seti... Not much going on there, and I am not interested in stirring anything up. Proteins just don't have the WOW factor that little green men do, and folks there don't appear to be real chatty. It is a bit different venue crunching for life sciences here on earth rather than for a project searching the cosmos. I am content to leave it at that and just crunch for another worthy project. |

This movie has some of the best snack/snatXh/honey pie/xyz /sugar/get your thing on.......single little gurl I have ever laid eyes on. And you KNOW what I mean. Little thang run around my house with them panties on.........oh, come on now. Oh, it must have been the soundtrack that got me off... This movie is as much about the blues as about a little gurl gone wrong. The soundtrack has more amazing tracks in it than her puSSy got spe.rm. Nice soundtrack...meow. And music I have lately heard. It's been around awhile. And..........I I am fixin' steaks for supper. I expect you to STAY...LOL. Little gurl get caught outside my shack in the street, she ain't never goin' home again. I have that sickness. I knows that sickness. I am a child of the night as well, Christina. We dwell in the night and revel in it. I live in the night and hide by day. Why Bella is my gurl....LOL. Don't try to run, get yo a@@ back in my HOUSE. Thing is......there are some people like ourselves that have long been victims of the night. We cannot stay aside in the fight. Both men and gurlz. I gave up to the sickness long ago. Some still have not. I gave in long ago. Lord have mercy. Black Snake Moan... |

My mind sometimes functions like a random number generator. I try to access something and it spits something else out. Like last night. There I am, trying to doze off for the night. And my mind tosses this at me........... You Can't Sit Down... |

another YouTube vid. It's a few years old... I guess she really loves kitties. Thanks! For some reason, youtube clips are not working for me tonight. Something's wonky. They were working last night. I'll try to have another look in the next couple of days and hopefully it starts working again. Meow! |
