Im crunching atm with 1 AMD64 3500+ and was doing very well at Seti and Einstein. Now i want to share my ressources with more projects as well.
Therefor i created a BAM account and added my PC for all projects. Shouldnt be a problem with deadlines of the projects. But now my problem: I attached 20 projects with BAM and now only 10 were downloaded by Boinc Manager. 10 are ignored. Dont know how to manage to get work from all 20 projects.
Please help.

Sorry for my bad English :p

Not all projects have implemented Bam or can be fully managed by Bam. Check the BAM web site for limitation for some projects.

The Projects tab of Boinc manager will list the ones you have successfully attached to.
It is normal to not have work from all project you have attached. Of my 10 attached projects, I have work for 6 at the moment.

Some projects may not have work available.
As an example, LHC has work for short periods of time then goes weeks before more work is available. Sztaki doesn't appear to have work at moment. Other projects may not be active at all for periods of times. Be careful of Alpha/Beta projects they are intermitent and can cause problems since they are only test projects. They should be monitored closely.

Boinc is designed to avoid downloading new work when it has enough on hand. It will eventually get work from all your projects and in the long run will follow the resource share you set. It also takes a while for Boinc to find a balance with all the new projects. Be patient and eventully you should see Boinc get to all the active projects.

EDIT: With this many projects, it is important to keep your 'Connect to network' setting as small as possible so as not to cache more work than Boinc can handle.

Sure, not all projects have work every time. But i think Einstein for example should have work... AND is supported by BAM... and i dont get work.

Since you were previously attached to Seti and Einstein, these projects may have to take a back seat for a short time until the new projects are balanced with them. It depends on what the long term debt numbers were at the time you attached the new projects.

The last hours I read a lot in boards and I think i cant work on all projects because of my RAM. All Projects need a space in my RAM and all together fill it up. So I think this is the reason...

Some projects recommend more ram than others to run. You would have to check the project sites for specifics. I've not had any problems with any of my projects with 500 megs. As for leaving the application in memory, that should not be a problem since they are moved into Virtual Memory on the hard drive to clear needed RAM.

The projects run one after the other, so RAM is not the problem. If BOINC doesn't download it's because BOINC decided, that there is already enough work. Especially at the first download from a new (or empty) project the servers tend to sending too much work. My PCs have work for 6-8 project at most times, but are connected to more projects. They get their share later.

Be shure to set the connect interval to a short time with many projects (and short here is < .1 days).
