Just heard the system reboot in the study while I was cooking. Also over night last night. And the night before. And a few more times.

But this time I got a crash log and it points to BOINC:

Now, having seen the first crash log it was not difficult to find more. 9 crashes in the 3 days since I updated the system.

No matter what BOINCManager / astropulse_7.05_x86_64-apple-darwin__opencl_nvidia_mac should not to crash my system so thoroughly that it needs reboots.
