Thread '5.5.1 installer error'

I get this error on both my computers (separate downloads). Re-installed windows installer but that didn't help. Boinc 5.4.9 installs flawlessly. Has anyone gotten 5.5.1 to work? Any chance of a fixed version anytime soon? ID: 4776 ·

Wait for 5.4.10 or .11 for that. Alpha versions can be recognized by the odd middle number. Use these ones only if you don't mind reformatting every so often or losing all your work.
