Hi, I just upgraded to Boinc 5.4.9 on WinXP and noted that the right buttom menu in the tray icon is not complete anymore. It would be nice to have the "Activity" menu from the manager into the tray icon again. I suspend/resume the aplication a few times per day, so it was handy. Also, now that the new core in setiathome is out, using twice the amount of memory, maybe some people will suspend the aplication more when they need more memory, so the menu can help. Thanks Oliver |

Sorry, I explain myself not right. I always run boinc in "run always" mode, when I need more memory I switch to "run based on preferences". I have setup that boinc only runs when I'm no using the PC. So, if I suspend by switching to "run based on preferences", I can go away from my PC without starting boinc again. Anyway, the previous right buttom menu in the tray was helpfull for me, but now it does not help me :( |

Sorry, I explain myself not right. You can do the same in the Activity tab or use Snooze to suspend activity for one hour. Boinc V 7.4.36 Win7 i5 3.33G 4GB NVidia 470 |

The difference is that if forgot to un-snooze, I wast precious CPU time. But, If I select "run as in preferences" I don't waste time if I run aways of the PC and forgot to un-snooze. No problem, I'm downgrading right now ;) |
