I recently purchased a new phone. A LG G2. My OS is Android 4.4.2 I downloaded the Boinc Ap and tried to connect to my all ready established Seti@Home Beta account. I make a connection but when it attempts to authenticate my account I get error message -204 I have tried to create a new account and I get the same error message. I get the same error message no matter what project I attempt to connect to. Once I also received the error message -224 but mostly it's been the -204. Thanks to anyone who can help. BOINC error -204 means that you have problems logging in. BOINC error -224 means the same as a HTTP error 404: Page not found. What does it say in the BOINC event log on the phone? |

Where is that located? When I open the Ap I get a list of projects to participate in. Thank you for responding to my question. |

I found it sometimes takes a few attempts before it works, try a few more times, making sure you don't make any typos. Claggy |

I have attempted to connect many different times. On my main computers I participate in Seti@Home, Einstein@Home, and Milkyway@Home, on my Kindle I mostly run the Seti@Home Beta, but regardless of the project I attempt to connect to on my phone it will not verify my login information. I have attempted to change my password, to reset my modem/router, I have tried plugging my phone in, I have tried resetting my phone both before and after I reset my modem/router. It simply won't connect to any project and I am not sure what I am doing wrong though I am sure it is something I am doing or not doing correctly. I have even tried to connect to the Seti@Home Beta on my phone and I realize that is a completely different account than my regular Seti@Home account. |
