Is it possible to use .jar programs as the target for single submit jobs? The only way I have got it to work for Windows clients is to use Jsmooth to wrap the jar in a windows executable and then distribute that. This is ok, but how would I do the same thing for Linux clients? Jsmooth doesn't wrap jars in linux executables.

Java+Linux just came up on a nearby thread.

I think we got as far as how it should work in theory but no feedback on how it works in practice yet.
