Does anybody know how to run the Test4Theory@Home virtual machine on VirtualBox? I've got a cernvm.vmdk file but I don't know what it is, what it's used for and if you can run (and if so how).

First, you should be asking on the Test4Theory@Home message boards.

The steps for installing the Oracle VM are different depending on what O/S your machine is running. Windows is easiest, simply download the latest BOINC with VM and it will prompt you do DL the VM and install it, then it sill finish the BOINC install. From there it is automatic.

Or just follow all the blue text within the red text at http://lhcathome2.cern.ch/test4theory/. It's what it's there for.
