I don't see a discussion thread for Word link, so here it is.

It was a tough choice whether to say Hogg or Nass in response to Boss.

I guess the rules aren't really stated anywhere here at Boinc, but I think the wordmistress of Seti would certainly say that "non-zero-Kelvin" was pushing it, hyphen-wise.

Well, at least Seti being down caused some activity in this Word Link. Even if it threatens to run around in circles.

This time, I said "line" because that's what Seti is.

Yes, I posted twice in a row. But there was a whole month in between.

I'm changing the name of this thread to general game discussion.

Having done that, I just found that there was once a Last Person to Post thread here. In another month and a week, it will have been three years since the last post in that thread. Is there any interest in starting it up again? We'd have to keep the number low, probably even lower than at Seti Beta, to keep it from dragging on forever.

And, not exactly a game, but I'll bring it up here anyway. Is there no Milestones thread here? I just noticed that I hit 19M total Boinc last Sunday, and 12M Seti today.

This time I'm only going to wait two weeks.

I still have a Super VHS machine that works; however, the led display is wearing out, and, the calendar no longer works... The calendar on it stopped at December 31, 2013. I was told to set it to 1997 for 2014; I think 1975 or 1976, (can't remember which), also works.

I have some Doctor WHO on VHS that I don't yet have the money to replace on DVD, yet. I've also recorded Babylon 5 on Super VHS. Those I'd like to get on Blu-Ray; if they're available on Blu-Ray.

Since the UK went digital - I haven't been able to get my machine to record anything off the TV, or tell the time. Tried everything, it just won't! *mystified frown* My son's vhs recorder still works though :)
