I am with three projects, SETI (resource share 50), BBC Climate Change (resource share 100)and World Community Grid(resource share 100). These are listed in the projects tab. However, BOINC only has BBC Climate Change on the work tab and this has been like this for days on end. Usually all three are listed and a couple are pre-empted. Any ideas as to how I can get it to run the other two? This problem has only manifested in the last week. I also notice that about 30% of boots the client does not connect to a client and I have to reboot. TIA, rtX |

This seems to have forced BOINC to get SETI and WCG work and it is now doing them. I have resumes the BBC client, and it now shows as pre-empted. |

Chances are that Boinc thinks that Climate is in danger of not finishing by due date (a common problem with these extra large WU projects) or the other projects have been getting more than their share of the CPU and is trying to compensate. Forcing the issue by suspending Climate is only postponing and aggravating the problem. May I suggest that you read about the Work Scheduler. Boinc V 7.4.36 Win7 i5 3.33G 4GB NVidia 470 |
