How the heck do I stop this thing from bringing up the screen saver? I am getting really annoyed wit it interrupting playback on certain programs. I want to totally disable the screen saver option! If I want to look at the graphics I will bring them up my self!!!!!!!

Thanks

The same way you disable any screen saver, through your operating system.
On Windows
1.Open Screen Saver Settings by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Screen Saver.
2. To turnoff all screen savers, under Screen Saver, click (None) in the drop-down list, and then click OK.

Sorry not the answer. This is not associated with the Operating system. I have already checked that. The Boinc program is running in the background and when it senses inactivity it starts to display its currently running project graphics. I want to know how to stop Boinc from doing this!

Humor us, please, and have a look in your operating system's Display/Screen Saver control panel anyway. If you see the word 'BOINC' there (and it might be, believe us), try changing it.

It had been a long time since I originally turned mine off that I had forgotten how. I also thought BOINC had it's own screensaver, but I went to windows screensaver and selected none. It now does not display.
The reason I needed to turn it off again was that I had to reinstall BOINC and my projects after I repaired some software problems. A pain in the rear virus infection. The AVG 2013 program I was using then caused an alert on BOINC and blocked it from working. Even after uninstalling AVG with a REVO like program I still had the same problem with BOINC. I just uninstalled and reinstalled and I was fixed.
