I did poke around in the faq and message board and did not find the answer I am seeking. It's a really simple question so I must have missed the answer.

If I suspend BOINC/Climate Prediction Model then then resume it later why do I get a second work instance at 0% that superceeds by original model? Why does it downloaded a second model to start? Why does it not resume my first model?

I have been aborting the new instance and resuming the original instance. Will my results be useful and valid?

Not sure this is you in CPDN, Celeron 2.66, OK you detached twice and reattached twice, so your original Model is gone, due to the detachment, the three that you have downloaded have errored out, i would suspect because you have been aborting them.... So at present you should have zero models running....

Use the Suspend in the menu, NOT the one in the Work tab. When you use this one, BOINC sees that the science app is out of work and gets more. Which is what it's supposed to do. The menu Suspend on the other hand suspends the model AND BOINC.
