i have setup boinc server and added uppercase application as test case.
the project is created successfully. i can connect client to the project but when schedular requests for task, client gets 0 new task.
the schedular.log show

2013-01-11 00:03:57.7338 [PID=1020 ] Request: [USER#1] [HOST#1] [IP 192.168.1.3] client 6.10.17
2013-01-11 00:03:57.7370 [PID=1020 ] Sending reply to [HOST#1]: 0 results, delay req 7.00
2013-01-11 00:03:57.7371 [PID=1020 ] Scheduler ran 0.009 seconds

can anyone let me know what could possibly the reason that client gets 0 task to compute.

thanks

Maybe because "uppercase" application is not an actual application? I think it means you should typing your application name in uppercase--but I've done fine typing it in lowercase too...

No, the uppercase application is a test application that comes with BOINC server. It will translate any file you input from lowercase to uppercase characters.
