Doesn't it still take some 700 years or so before that radiation is here by the time we see it explode? Uhh, no. If you see it explode it is already here. It just means it blew up 642.5 years ago and the radiation/light is now just reaching Earth. |

Doesn't it still take some 700 years or so before that radiation is here by the time we see it explode? It exploded some 700 years ago and they have predicted the precise time the gravity wave, neutrinos and photons will arrive. ;-) |
