Some of us have work to do!

Some of us just had a late lunch at our desk, lunch not being served due to PARCC and ACT examinations.

Now some of us need to run to the euphemism.

Toodle!

I've been thinking of giving running a go again... nothing like a breeze between the ears whilst bellowing at a bus driver is there :) ... not to any euphemisms. Factoring in outcomes such as falling flat and delaying euphemism-arrival don't bear thinking about really... *ponder* ... wonder why I did...

edit: oh yes... David... :)

Late morning here. Its Mr 99's birthday day so we are supposed to be heading out to lunch later.

I have a sh*t load of marking to do and I am teaching night school tonight.

I don't mind the night school..I just really hate marking maths.

Its all fine and dandy until they get a question wrong, then you have wade through loads of incoherent algebra to find out where it went wrong for them.

I'm getting x=0.4m..but I'll double check that unless someone else wants to.

Then you can see my terrible algebra. Ha!

Indirectly related:
Canadians 'Spocking' their currency in tribute to Leonard Nimoy
To honor the memory of iconic "Star Trek" actor Leonard Nimoy, some Canadians are drawing Spock on their $5 bills.

Command and helm personnel wear the green/gold shirts; operations, engineering and security personnel wear red; and science and medical personnel wear blue. The frequent death of red-uniformed security officers led to the coining of the popular term "redshirt"

In TNG and its sequels, the departments with red changed to mustard and those with gold changed to red.

But wait, you say. Didn't Worf and LaForge wear mustard later?

Yes, they did. In the first season, Worf was a miscellaneous bridge officer with no real job except to be a Klingon on the bridge, and LaForge was a helmsman. From the second season on, Worf was head of security and LaForge was Chief Engineer, thus their change of colors. (Worf went back to red on DS9.) Notice also that Ensign Crusher is wearing red, putting him on a command track. I couldn't easily find a cast photo from season 7 with Troi wearing a standard blue uniform instead of the jump suit, but I suppose Ship's Counselor comes under the broad heading of Medical.

And now I think I'll pop off to the euphemism again in anticipation of getting outta here half an hour early (due to having eaten lunch at my desk).

Second post during the Outrage!!! :-)

Sirius beat me with his Edit.

So what happened to the Tardis?

Nothing happened to the TARDIS. You caught her mid flight from SETI@Home to BOINC and when she landed here, about 15 seconds transpired from your edit to my post. :-)

@ES,

Happy Birthday Mr. ES!!!!! :-)

Happy Birthday Mr Es99.

I will set foot in Canada for the first time in Calgary in June.

Not sure if that is winning for Canada.
Pluto will always be a planet to me.
