The cafe has been slumbering for 7 days. Wake up sleepyheads.
Winter weather is not that far off in the Northern Hemisphere.

Yes, the UK variant started while I was in the pub. Snow falling, but not settling, except on car windshields. Higher up from the valley floor, it's starting to settle - roofs already covered. Tomorrow will be interesting.

Hmph - all I can expect is a few flakes and lot of drivers panicking about deep snow...

uh, sorry: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the morning.

We seem to have dodged it - this time. It did snow (gently) all night, and the hills and fields are nicely covered - but the tarmac roads had enough residual heat to melt the snow as it landed. They seem to be entirely clear, at this level at least.

None here but temp 1C outside. When I got in, central heating set to 15.5C was running. Wood stove now lit!
At least tomorrow we are due sun all day so solar panels will charge up the battery.

Tomorrow, the winter is coming this way. Lots of snow, and wind.
-2C here now, and the temperature is falling rapidly.

Well thanks. It's snowing now here too. Sleet, but still. I have to go through it later on.
