I just wake up and while take the aspirins & some coffee see that too. Maybe we entering on a ET Wormhole and we go to the future or back in time. Who knows? Just in case will be ready to do my part and participate on the usual sacrifice but with a Chivas 18 YO, i have no more beer in stock. In my house the outrage pub is still close due the lockdown and prohibition. @Richard You are so close... congrats in advance. . |

Yep, it is way too early on the upper left coast to start celebrating an outage. SETI@home is temporarily shut down for maintenance. Please try again later. |

Project down for maintenance! Is it Tuesday already? Well done Richard, I'm sure your pendings will push that over the line. While SETI is down, please could you take a look at my recent report in https://boinc.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=13490 and point me in the right direction for Android feedback on a BOINC Beta problem ? |

Well done Richard, I'm sure your pendings will push that over the line. Thanks - I've been living off pendings for the last fortnight, and I've still got plenty left - only the timing is in question. While SETI is down, please could you take a look at my recent report in https://boinc.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=13490 and point me in the right direction for Android feedback on a BOINC Beta problem ?Replied in thread. I've described my own experiences, but they go back many years - not related to this Beta. |

Good Morning Seti friends! Some how I missed last weeks outage, but I noticed today's. I'll join you in drinking and howling as I'm having a hard time measuring time. So now I know it is Tuesday. Cheers! |

I think this is a normal phenomenon in prison :) . . When all these lock downs are over we can get back to a normal life except without S@H. Stephen :( |

Does the SETI server status page usually freeze during a scheduled outage ? The time that it occurred is also a bit earlier than usual, around 05:00 in Berkeley by my calculations, I thought that they were usually a few hours later |

I think the 'frozen SSP' started around the time of one of the botched upgrades, in the run up to Christmas. We've seen it, but not for very long. Timing depends on the person throwing the switch. Jeff (Cobb) is an early bird, up with the larks. Eric and David - aren't. |

That was fast, i was only able to participate in the sacrifices with a pair of Irish coffees. That's what a lean, mean, database does for you - and it should be even leaner and meaner now. The big test is how long it takes to fully warm up everything and start sending out tasks again. Er, maybe not. |

Well, it loaded all my tasks at the first ask - but that's under 4,000, less than a tenth of what it was a few days ago. And I got my 200 mill - 200,000,853, at the last look. |

Congrats Richard Way to go!Thanks all. I've celebrated with a local cafe meal, and a glass (probably more to come) of wine. In these days of lockdown, the cafe has closed for the duration. But the owner is still cooking, and delivering door-to-door in the local area. Makes a pleasant change from supermarket ready meals. |

Something flakey is going on with the Einstein forums... Many are not loading for me and browser says "The connection has timed out". Tried Chrome Mozilla and Internet Explorer with same response. Example https://einsteinathome.org/content/android-app-release-feedback-thread Anyone else having same issue? |

Congrats Richard, 200 mill is not bad. I couldn't quite reach 50 mill, not that I tried especially hard the last month. Oh, and Beta is still down, hopefully not for good, or we will not be able to finish our ongoing TLPTPW thread. Edit: Hmm, wine... Yeah, I guess I should go to my local Systembolaget tomorrow, and get myself a couple of bottles. |
