Upon further reflection methinks social distancing is keeping the crew from going into the lab. If true and it lasts till the end of the month I ask how the project will end?

So it is let it run until it goes belly up and then put it to bed.

I am wondering if the extreme slow is the project or everyone in Oakland running 10 live streams because they can't do anything else.

Need to prepare (put beer to freeze) to be ready for the usual sacrifice, in my home at this time.

There are those in England who would accuse you of heresy.

At >36C most of the day under high energy tropical sun (UV factor >10) you need a very cold beverage, why that is heresy? I use beer to cooling myself!

Chance would be a fine thing! Dave would probably be able to say how long this lasted (it's his home town), but I doubt it was more than an hour or two:

The 38.7°C recorded in Cambridge Botanic Garden on 25 July 2019 during the recent European heatwave has now been confirmed to be the highest temperature ever recorded in the UK.
By contrast, I live in the town which had the highest ever rainfall (by comparison with the local average - > +400%) last month. Most Brits are grateful to extract warmth from any beverage going.

Speaking of which, my local barn is still providing beer, food, and plenty of space for self-isolation. They say they'll keep going until the Government actively orders them to shut down, but tonight it looked like it was going to be a struggle.

Plenty of space for self-abuse of any kind. It's got a gin garden, as well as the beer barn.

You all are so lucky, my local berg sent the health department out to close a couple of places that dared to attempt to stay open for St. Paddys.

Well, it IS the Ides of March.
BEWARE Already!

Beware the Ides of March.
One of very few nouns in the English language that only exists in the plural. (At least when I play scrabble online.)

Still doesn't explain why some countries with much colder weather than UK only drink cold beer.

Actually it is the other way around. The Brits are used to drinking warm beer. It is a well known fact that refrigeration made by Lucas, the lord of darkness, (think British cars of the 1950s), is the cause.

Or, that our beers are brewed to taste their best when served warm, in the same way that most American beers are better when served cold and are quite disgusting when served warm.

Latest coronanews:
- the EU is asking Netflix and other streaming sites to stream their content in lower resolutions because with all these people sitting at home streaming everything in HD and above resolutions, the internet is getting overloaded.
- Dutch supermarkets are asking to temporarily stop handling cash money, to only pay with PIN.
- herd immunity, does it work or not? I'll be able to tell you if I am still alive in 4 weeks time.

Don't do Netflix or much else in the way of streaming media. Just wondering if come the 23rd of next month I will need to download 20.04 overnight on my bored band?
