Hi fellow seti crunchers, hair burners and moon howlers! I'm bringing Birthday cake to the festivities today. There are plenty of candles on the cake to be reused (away from the cake) for hair burning later if needed. |

Since Jord is on holiday and Richard is the mod, I think, I hope he doesn't have to endure the fetid stench of burning hair. I do believe he would enjoy the cake. |

I've just come back in after a day out in the late summer fresh air. I can go back out again if need be. Rest easy for now IMO now is not the correct time to set our hair on fire or howl at the moon. |

I'll definitely enjoy the water provided today as I try and stay hydrated during today's heatwave and hope the electricity stays on. |

I hope all are enjoying today's outage, methinks the late start bodes for a normal 3 hr outage. I predict there will be no hair set on fire or howling at the moon. If we go beyond 5 hrs those resources are still available. |

Here on the left coast they are predicting highs in the 100'sF, er 38C sun, wind and power cuts. |
