I'm having GREAT difficulty getting into and out of this Thread; and, reloading the BOINC boards takes FOREVER!!! :-( Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos Pluto is still a planet |

Nothing with seti is ever really fixed. It just works better some days, and not at all other days. I wasn't talking about SETI, I was talking about the BOINC boards. Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos Pluto is still a planet |

Bleeeaaaaaahhhh!!!..... Got a late start on inventory time, getting used to a new software system. More than my usual physical activity, after popping my knee at the museum on Sunday. All last week, my left knee was giving me little twinges of pain, so I was favoring it a bit. Then, in the middle of Sunday afternoon, just walking, not even getting on or off the streetcar, I just stepped funny and my right knee twisted a bit. Now it hurts when I walk. For a moment Sunday night, I thought I was in big trouble. Needed to get out of my recliner, couldn't strain the right knee, and the left thigh was threatening to cramp. Not good. Doing reasonable. I just slept an hour, after having slept only two last night due to phone-watch and complications and walking around all day like a zombie. Since I was starting to see things, I thought it better to crash for an hour. Deepest sleep I had in ages, my alarm had difficulty waking me. So still to do: masses. But already done: also masses. Maybe this weekend that I have some time to make a wiki for BOINC 7.6, so it can be released. |

Idle hands make trouble, be thankful in this time of trouble that you have them and are able. As for the kittyman, well,........those little brain chemical thingys that rule my life have been rather forgiving as of late. Manic depressive disease is something that will probably take me to my own grave, but let me make this very clear. It shall never be by my own hand. Ever. My brother went down that road, and therefore I cannot. I did not post on Seti for a few days, and folks were getting worried about me..........a PM from a friend advised me of this, so I started posting again... Might have been to some's chagrin....LOL. You be well, please look after yourself as well as you do your mother, Jord. Please? Meow. |
