I have several Linux boxes of various distros running boinc 5.2.13 and connecting to the internet (e.g. to upload/download work) OK.
But I have another Linux box that cannot connect to the internet with 5.2.13, only with 4.43.
I notice that the 4.43 program is a lot larger than 5.2.13. Does this mean that 4.43 has the internet connect code built into it while 5.2.13 relies on some program on my Linux box which is either missing or broken ? What's the difference ?
Thanks
Rod
