Hi, just trying out boinc here and can't get through quick start so must be something simple. I downloaded the VM sever and set it up with bridged ethernet networking. I'm behind a router at home so I assigned it a random static IP in my network (192.168.1.100) so that I can ping it from my computer (192.168.1.3). Then I made a test project:
./make_project --url_base http://192.168.1.100 --test_app test
saw messages about encrypting, copying files, and something db related,
and then got a stack trace, the bottom line of which reads:
"ALTER command denied to user 'boincadm'@'localhost' for table 'platform'"
so it looks like a permissions issue somewhere? full trace is below
