What do you think of this ? You have the option of attaching to whatever projects you want to. So if you only want to run open source projects, just attach to those. |

Opening the source can be detrimental. It would allow others to change the application files. This can be a good or bad thing. For example, A project may need control over the manner the answer is returned. It may require accuracy to a specific digit past the decimal, but optimizers might alter it, thereby ruining the science. This is but one example. Maybe a project has the need to change the application quickly, on the fly, as the questions change. Some projects' goals just aren't suited to being open source. |
