When Boinc Manager for Windows (5.3.27 through 5.3.31) needs to remind me on the necessity to connect to the servers, it pops up the "BOINC Manager - Network Status" reminder dialog window. I noticed that if the Manager window is kept opened, multiple reminder dialogs pop up and stack one over another over the screen.

I tried to set the reminder frequency to 0 minutes (naively thinking that it could mean "it is not necessary to open the dialogs"). Wrong me: the reminder frequency changed to 1 second and kept opening and opening... Some may feel this like a funny joke, but others annoying or rather scary, because:

I'm not able to close the dialog windows that fast (OK, on 3 of 4 tries I won). While some reminder dialogs are opened, I can't access the Advanced / Options dialog to change the reminder frequency. Additionally it is not possible to close the application window with Taskbar's [ X - Close ] because the reminders are the active child windows. Selecting the [ B ] icon's Exit menu item in the system tray had no influence, Selecting the [ B ] icon's About... menu item afterwards caused the Boinc Manager's window to disappear, but the application's process tree (MB, BCC, crunchers) was still left running. On few runs it was even not possible to open the popup menu, because the opening dialogs caused the menu to close immediately. Sometimes (after successful attempt to press the Exit popup menu) the whole application process tree finally terminated correctly after all dialog windows have been closed.

Conclusion: the popup reminder dialog window should open only once and stay once, if already opened (in this case it is not modal, but in multiple they were modal). And 0 (zero) mintues interval could mean "no popups"...
