I think there is still no any kind of Guinness World Record based on BOINC, and I think this activity is certainly worthwhile to be included in GWR. Someone would have to propose a world record category to Guinness World Records. I think there is a good chance they will accept it if it is well defined. And I think having official Guinness World Record might have huge promotional potential for BOINC.

My idea for world record category is "User with most BOINC projects with at least 1 million credits" or something like that. This kind of record will promote participation in many different projects.

I have some experience with submitting records to Guinness so I might help here.
