Comparatives, what kind of credits are we talking about? It might be possibble that you might be expecting to much. Regards. |

Has the looks of a hyperthreaded P4, trying to squeeze 2 jobs onto 1 core. Though this is not anomalous, count on the task running 2 times as long minus about 15%, compared to a P4 without hyperthreading being used. This means that the P4-HT still does about 1.15 times the amount of work of just running 1 thread. If you want to run the tasks faster on that device, set BOINC to use 50% of processors. --//-- |
