When I have tasks that are due on different days, in particular, short duration tasks that are due earlier than long duration tasks, the long duration tasks will run first. I am assuming that because of the way that I run my machines, 24 hours / day on weekends only, this causes problems, and the short duration tasks frequently end up completing late.

Personally, I think prioritizing tasks this way makes no sense. I guess you would expect me to say that since I am experiencing these problems. :)

Is this prioritization schema the expected behavior???
