I am quite sure it did not do this before. CPU is PIV 2.8, Asus MB, 512MB Does anyone else has this happen? ID: 3616 ·

BOINC runs your computer at 100%, so it'll heat up. Make sure you have adequate cooling and that you clean out the dust bunnies. Kathryn :o) ID: 3618 ·

Jim K Send message Joined: 8 Sep 05 Posts: 168	Message 3621 - Posted: 24 Mar 2006, 16:36:35 UTC You are running at about the correct temp for an Intel stock fan, I changed to a volcano 7, and used Arctic silver grease and the temps dropped from 73 to 47 to 57, @ 100%, plus you need to keep it clean, get all the dust bunnies off the heat fins....
