I am using OS 10.7 Lion on a Mac. My dock is cluttered and I would like to control Boinc only from the menubar. Is there a way to do this?

Perhaps Info.plist can be modified? It was suggested in an OS 10.5 thread to add the key "LSUIElement" with the string value "1". I know how to use a text editor to edit Info.plist (found in BOINCManager: Contents) but I don't know the complete syntax to use.

The syntax would be:

<key>NSUIElement</key>
<string>1</string>
