Had computer problems not related to BOINC or WU's.
I have SETI@Home and ClimatePrediction still listed in sub-directories of BOINC.
However, the BOINC Manager seems to know that work is available, but comes up with following dialog:
BOINC Manager - Connection Failed
BOINC Manager is not able to connect to a BOINC client.
Would you like to try to connect again? Yes/No

I have run a repair of BOINC Manager.
When this did not work I even uninstalled/reinstalled BOINC Manager.

If anybody has any remedy to this situation, short of deleting SETI@Home/ClimatePrediction, would appreciate assistance.
Regards and best wishes,
Jim Dalton

I had the same problem with BOINC 5.2.13, and I solved it in the following way:

1st) Completely uninstall the BOINC software.

2nd) Delete the BOINC directory from your harddisk (usually it should be found at C:\\program files\\BOINC (German: c:\\programme\\BOINC).

3rd) Reinstall the BOINC software and fill in your project and existing account data.

4th) Reboot the system.

5th) Connect to the internet.

6th) Run the BOINC client.

Now, after automatically downloading the project software and data, BOINC should work again.
Some useful information to this bug/problem can be found in the thread "Manager doesn't contain any info"

Best regards from Germany,
Bernd.
