So I recently set up a BOINC client on my server to donate some of its downtime to science. However, when I review the messages (and my account statistics), it appears that I'm not actually getting anything done... messages: [SETI@home] update requested by user [SETI@home] Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. [SETI@home] Requesting new tasks [SETI@home] Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks [SETI@home] Message from server: Invalid or missing account key. To fix, remove and add this project. Unfortunately, when I detach and reattach this project, the problem persists. Any advice? * Keep in mind that because I'm running this on my remote server, my only interaction with it is through SSH and the boinccmd * This happens for both SETI and rosetta, so the problem isn't the particular project * I attached projects using the following command, where XXX is my full-access account key: boinccmd --project_attach http://setiathome.berkeley.edu XXX |

By the way, I'm running on 10.04.3 Ubuntu, if that makes any difference. Also, the contents of cc_config.xml options (all the log options are default): <options> <suppress_net_info>1</suppress_net_info> <start_delay>150</start_delay> <max_file_xfers>4</max_file_xfers> <max_file_xfers_per_project>2</max_file_xfers_per_project> <allow_multiple_clients>0</allow_multiple_clients> </options> |
