As mentioned before, due to some wrong handling of Boinc I found some more of these work packages in my list. I would like to continue that initial work package I already started and just delete the other ones - of course with informing climatprediction, that those parameter sets will not be evaluated by myself. Is there a way to do so or do I have to stop all and get a new one (as I understood from your post)? ID: 3467 ·

Michael Roycraft Send message Joined: 24 Nov 05 Posts: 129	Message 3468 - Posted: 13 Mar 2006, 11:28:48 UTC Dhiller, Are you running a version of BOINC that will display the BOINC Manager? Open the Manager window, select the "Work" tab. Highlight (click on) one of the WUs (tasks, "packages") which you would like to eliminate. The column of buttons on the left panel should now show up (become active), including "Abort". Click on "Abort", affirm your selection in the dialog box. Repeat as needed. Open the "Projects" tab, select the Climate Prediction project, and click the "Update" button on the left. The aborted WorkUnit(s) may not be immediately cleared from your cache, but that is the quickest way to return them to CPDN for re-assignment. (I don't run CPDN, so there may be some special-case variations, which I'm sure will be clarified by someone more versed in CPDN). NOTE: An abort cannot be "undone", reversed, so be sure you have selected the intended item. "The arc of history is long, but it bends toward Justice" ID: 3468 ·
