Yoyo@Home is gone again. "The server on www.rechenkraft.net could not be found."
Oh well...

Collatz popped back up about two hours after it went offline and appears fine now.

Aqua is still in 'Predictor' mode. They are now essentially (with their back and forth and roll back in early July) past a two month outage.

It seems that while their corporate sponsor (Dwave) is still operating just find, that they may have simply shut down the Aqua project -- but perhaps forgotten that they have servers and a web site running (there has been no information from Dwave regarding this).

Having an open access web site (with open access message boards) and no administration by Dwave might be described as a tad 'sub-optimal' on a number of levels. Dwave might do well to 'fess up' and simply shut down the site (ideally with a note of 'we've moved on' prior to that.

Yoyo@Home is back, their forums are still gone: 404 - Not Found, that's not good.

Does anybody know what's happening with uFluids? They've been offline for more than a week now.

Good bye to Aqua -- posted on their home page:

Thank-you all
Dear volunteers,

Your contribution over the last 3 years to the AQUA@home project was critical for us to perform immense computations necessary for the advancement of our science and technology. We have published several scientific papers reporting the results of those computations, including our recent publication in Nature. We made sure to acknowledge your generous contributions in those papers, as your help was vital. At this time, however, we no longer have large computations requiring the computing power of AQUA@home. We therefore have come to the decision to shut down AQUA for the forseeable future. Thank-you again for the selfless devotion of your time, patience, and computing resources to our effort to progress the field of quantum computing.

Sincerely,
Neil Dickson

Yoyo@Home is back, their forums are still gone: 404 - Not Found, that's not good.

The Rechenkraft forums are now back. They're recovering from a hack-attack. The general advice (in German) is, if you have an account on their forums, that you log in and change your password ASAP. Same advice if you have an account on their Wiki.

Consistent with the announcement of Aqua's 'suspsension' for the 'foreseeable future' as of Friday (Sept. 9) the home page has been shut down.

Milkyway's Assimilators and Validator will be down sporadically over the next few days to work on some recurring issues and for an upgrade.

Seti was having some problems (upload mostly) prior to their maintenance run on Tuesday. Post maintenance run the problems seems to have grown -- and now (early Wednesday AM) the site is not accessible at all.

I can reach the Seti site and forums without a problem. If you still can't, it's probably something local. The site and forums run off a different internet connection than the work connection does.

There was a complete communications blackout for both data and web services between about 04:00 and 06:00 local (Berkeley) time today - I usually take that to mean some planned network maintenance by comms staff in the Bay area, not necessarily either in the SETI lab or the Berkeley campus. All services are back up and running now, albeit at their usual congested (glacial) speed.

Our router at the PAIX was restarted (I'm guessing by someone at Packet Clearing House). This appears to have fixed the problem.

Prime Grid seems to be down just when they are starting one of their challenges. Anyone else having problems? http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/# is showing it as down also.

Milkyway is experiencing issues. Not sure on WU status but the website isn't coming up for me.
