Updating BOINC from 6.10.58 to 6.12.28 on Mandriva 2009.1, 2010.0 and 2010.1 all result in the following errors being displayed when run_client is executed. ./boinc: /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8: no version information available (required by ./boinc) ./boinc: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8: no version information available (required by ./boinc) ./boinc: /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4: no version information available (required by ./boinc) ./boinc: /lib/i686/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.11' not found (required by ./boinc) All of these libraries exist but there seems to have been a change in the requirements with this newer version. Is there anything I can do to fix this or is it up to the developers? Reverting to 6.10.58 allows boinc to start and run correctly. Chuck |
