I have two Windows 7 machines, one running version 6.2.28 the other using 6.10.58. The newer version doesn't preload a second set of tasks so there are no "Ready to Start" tasks available when a task completes. The older version does preload spare tasks. I have not found anything in the preferences that gives one a choice in this matter. Was 6.10.58 designed to forgo preloading of tasks? It is easier to stop after completing all tasks without the second set (for vacations.) Still, you lose time getting new tasks when you complete old ones in normal operation. If it matters both machines are using 64 bit Windows 7 SP 1 though the newer one is Pro and 6.2.28 is Premium. Both are quad core machines. |

That's a nasty usability bug/issue. Been caught by it myself. Useful feature for some no doubt, but not really obvious that you've done it by mistake. Al. |
